Roger worked on these gifts for a couple years before giving them to his friends before Christmas in their seventh (John’s sixth) year.
Brian was always jealous that Roger’s crest had a badger on it. So Roger made him a sweater in his house colors, with the Hufflepuff badger. The badger moves.
Freddie’s lion blanket is charmed to always be the perfect temperature.
And John’s crocheted snake (which he names Snakespeare) is quite alive, and eats spare bits of fabric and polyester stuffing.
(Roger is really, really good at charms.)
